Discovery Gateway, formerly The Children’s Museum of Utah, has been a leading resource for early childhood education and learning through play since 1978. We continue to be a well-established community icon, serving many families across multiple generations. As a non-profit organization, we depend on public, private, and corporate support in order to grow and continue to provide our visitors with educational exhibits and programs.
Not only does your donation help ensure that Discovery Gateway remains one of Utah’s most unique learning environments for families, it also allows us to:
- Provide free educational programs to low-income children.
- Develop and refresh exhibit galleries.
- Bring our outreach program to classrooms.
- Buy paint, books, and the countless other items used for teaching, learning, and play.

Annual Fund
It takes just over $10 to cover the cost of programming, supplies, and staff for one child's visit, but we collect only $8.50 per guest. Donate to our Annual Fund and support learning through play.
